SYNTHEC FUELS operates the most advanced carbon capturing processes to reduce CO2 emissions from its processes to almost zero. The remaining CO2 will be offset by extracting CO2 from the ambient air. SYNTHEC FUELS is aiming to be CO2-negative in all its processes. The carbon capture processes are eliminating emissions of about 380.000.000 kg CO2 per year from a standard Synthec Fuels plant.
The captured CO2 will be utilized in further backend processes for the production of e.g. synthetic fuels, in the food industry, as fertilizer for greenhouses and algae production or will be captured in synthetic coal or carbon nano tubes.
The use of SYNTHEC FUELS sustainable aviation fuels save immense amounts of CO2. A Boeing 787 airplane would save the amount of about 120.000 kg of CO2 on a flight from Los Angeles (USA) to Sydney (Australia) (about 12.000 km), if 50% sustainable SYNTHEC FUELS SAF were blended in.
from Los Angeles to Sydney
of 100.000 km
In the case of a hydrogen bus, the saving would be about 72.000 kg of CO2 for a distance of 100.000 km, compared to a diesel bus consuming 25 litres per 100 km.
